Re: 10.4.0.16 Bug in editor: Marked text in HTML mode has very low contrast

2023-09-23 Thread Thomas ML
Hello Ritlabs,

When working at the HTML editor, kindly also fix the rather annoying font
change problem: https://bt.ritlabs.com/view.php?id=2147

When composing HTMLs email, I always have to highlight some paragraphs and
change to font back, otherwise I'd have two different fonts in my email. Can't
have that in business emails. Thanks.

BUG in Editor: Marked text in Editor mode Pure-HTML not visible
1. Set Theme to Standard
2. Set Editor to Pure-HTML
3. Hit Ctrl+A
4. See that marked text is not readable

In mode Plain Text or Rich Text the marked text is really readable (less
contrast).

Unfortunately, I can't.
This is not the first time I tried to add to an existing topic in the
bugtracker. My login info isn't accepted. The 'lost password'
option says, no account with my info exists. Trying to create
a new account says, the email address is in use.

Quite some time ago I wrote about this problem to Ritlabs, but
never got an answer. And thus, if I have something to report,
I do that here only.

By the way, you'll notice some of the above is in italic font
setting. That did TB spontaneously.

Kind regards,
Gunivortus

P.S.  By accident, I cut too much away from your message,
that is why my footer is not there. :-)

Hello,

This test message is written while in TB's footer bar
it is set to:
Dutch+English (American)+German  HTML   Latin 9 (IS).
After the dot of the previous sentence I pressed, as usual, ENTER for
a carreage return. All of a sudden the font size had changed from
Arial 14 to Arial 11.

Also inserting some text by using the paste option of the right-mouse menu
failed. I had to do it by the keyboard commands ctrl-C and ctrl-V.
Inserting the same in Windows editor worked with the mouse menu.

Confirmed. Not only does the %Clear macro in your QT not function in
HTML/plain text, but neither does it function with the windows editor or
HTML only. Only MicroEd acts as intended.
