Write over your email address temporary in the Account, Properties.
If you mean change my email in my account settings from

because the account doesn't exist. Well only in my ISP eyes.

I meant that. And the method I suggested would have worked. I could

If you mean by this e-mail list TBBETA, go here:
http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Scroll down to the buttons under the caption Unsubscribing or
Adjusting Your Subscription. Click on the TBBETA button. Then follow
the instructions. Fill in [EMAIL PROTECTED] and your password.
There's a link to request your password if you've forgotten it.

Lastly, it says on the page that if you are still having problems you
should send a message to the moderation team, and there's a link on
the page from which to do that, also.

Try going to the following URL:

There are buttons in the middle of the page under Unsubscribing or
Adjusting your Subscription that let you unsubscribe yourself. The
effect should be immediate.

Maybe, but folder templates wouldn't have been responsible for
putting:

in the TO line, the Subject line *and* the body of the message! This
was a deliberate and premeditated act of manual dexterity g, not the

rant

Although this particular instance may not be due to the infamous Folder
Template argument, I still contend that TB does not handle MailTo: links
properly. If you hover your mouse over a MailTo: link, you will see that
it is specifically addressed, and TB should simply come up with a
message addressed as such.

I mean, a MailTo link is just that... a link to an address, and is _not_
to carry with it any address(es) that may be associated with the Folder
the link is found in. Folder Templates is one of the 'features' of TB,
but because it cannot properly handle Mailto's, the use of this feature
is frowned on, and I find that ridiculous.

I use both Becky and TB extensively, and with Becky all I use are Folder
Templates, but unlike TB, when I click on a MailTo in Becky I get only
what the MailTo link prescribes... without extraneous addresses
included.

end rant ;o)

how about read what is written at the end of every message?

Chances are the person had folder templates defined with
%To="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

So if this person clicked the mailto link below, then the list would
get a copy too. But speaking of that, perhaps a simple filter could
be created to remove messages being sent to both the list and the
unsub address? Create a filter with the following:

String: Location Presence
TB(UDL|BETA)[EMAIL PROTECTED]SenderYes
TB(UDL|BETA)@thebat.dutaint.com Recipient Yes
unsubs?c?r?i?b?e?Subject Yes

Enable Regular Expressions and have it moved to the trash. The '?'
characters are there so that typos would be caught. Can anyone think
of a better way to catch typos?

unsub([scribe]{0,7})? should do it. This would allow the mixing up of
letters and an occasional extra letter or missing letters. :-)

But I wonder how worthwhile the regex is considering they're hitting the
