No, it isn't. Simply copy "encrypted" .msb file into any other folder
(i.e. in account without password), start The Bat and you can read
messages stored in this "encrypted" g file. Not a good work.

This feature will be in version 2 of TB.

 2All:
By the way, it looks that some macros are now case sensitive (look
into header, I must rewrite From and Reply-to address, To field is
unchanged). In message header macros must be typing in uppercase, but
in message body mustn't (my address bottom is inserted correctly).

I have the same problem in "HEADER" of "REPLY" template only :-(((

Another small suggestion for future versions:

German versions of Microsoft e-mail programs often use "AW:"

Hmmm, don't know if this is exactly what you want, but I set up new
message templates for certain people in my addressbook.

For example, my parents e-mail address entry in the addressbook has
this as the new message template:

*** Start ***

Hey mom and dad,

%CURSOR

%COOKIE

%PUT="C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Includes\Dominant Sig.txt"

*** End ***

You could just as easily change the "Hey mom and dad," to say Mr. Dad
or whatever.

In addition, I made the nickname for the addressbook "dad", so all I
do is type "dad" in the TO field, hit enter and then click in the
message body.

Other than that, I don't think TB actually uses the name prefix in
the addressbook entry when creating a message. It is most likely just
for informational purposes.

I use the language module for the Bat! 1.36 for the use of the Dutch language.
After selecting the language 'dutch' only the words and options in the

1999-10-14 Thread Andrew K. Lovetski

Hello, The Bat Users!

AK The properties windows should be resizable, so you don't have to
AK scroll so much while designing message templates.

PG I do not think it would be so useful : the easiest way to design a
PG template seems to use the editor, and benefit from all its
PG features (justify, signatures, spell checker, etc), and do a
PG copy/paste when finished.

BTW, it's another good point: why TB does not use it's editor for
editing message templates? When entering any template, there is no
alignement functions (Alt+L, Alt+J), for example. Other functions are
missing, too.

TB! is smart enough to remove properly formed sigs so the

Have you enable "Keep message on server for xx days" or "delete

remove "match" message in next session connect.

BTW. It would be nice if TB have "wipe message on Server command",
which delete all message on Server without downloading first (this is
usefull if we leave message on Server for certain account) and for
IMAP account, "synchronize command" will help too.

Thanks. So...It appears that even though I have Leave Mail on Server
enabled, if I've downloaded a message once, Dispatch will no longer

Not in my experience, but you have to select the option to show all
mails rather just new ones.

So this raises the question of how I delete messages left on the
 server.

Show all messages and then select the ones to be deleted.
