Deleting messages

2001-06-23 Thread syv

Hi TBUDL,

I have a new problem with 1.53d, The deleted messages with CTRL-Del
on the floder would send the messages to the Trash. Now they are
deleted completely. I cannot review them before really emptying the
 trash.

I have about 20 filters for spam, They use to send the mail to the
trash, now the messages are deleted.

[Deleting messages]

Just discovered further information:

1. TB stays on 24x7. It's my listserver.

2. I just closed it. Now the deletion if messages with Ctrl-Del does
send the messages to the Trash.

3. Since restarting the Cool Tips do not work right now, in about a
day they will start again to work.

Re[3]: Out of Resources Message Error

2001-06-23 Thread Dominik 'IronHand' Dalek

Hello!

As an answer for Your letter, I would like to write:

I know ICQ uses a lot of GDI resources, so I don't know if Daniel is
running ICQ when using TB!? On my system ICQ eats about 1300 GDI
objects, while TB! and IE only use 400.
I don't think ICQ should be a problem, unless he has very little
memory. I'm running ICQ all the time I'm connected to the Internet,
and no program ever ran out of resources. (And I'm not running just
 ICQ when I'm connected).

Lucky You. They are right. Memory consumption is nothing comparing to
GDI resources consumption. I don't know why, but Delphi apps show this
Error more frequent than others (LCC, VC++). This is one of
disadvantages of applications made using Delphi.

Best Regards
IronHand

Default dial up isp

2001-06-23 Thread John Phillips

Hello fellow Bat! fans.

How do I control which is the default dial up isp for my two mail accounts?

Bat! does not use the default set up in IE 5.5, but rather the SMTP account for
sending, which suits me fine because of my set up, but just curious!.

Go into each accounts properties and go to 'Network' settings. Enable the
option 'Use account specific network settings' and select the dialup ISP
from there.

Re: text or something else?

2001-06-23 Thread Thomas F

Hello Benson,

I am quoting you in full, because many people will nto have seen your
message. You have replied to an old message deep inside a thread. If
you wish all member of this list to see your message, it is always
best to hit new message instead of replying to an old one and just
deleting the text.

As to your question, TB creates fully RFC-compliant plain-text
messagers. I suggest you hit shft-crtl-K, which will show all headers,
and then forward the whole message to their support email address and
aks them what is the problem. Please let us know what they reply.
