RE:behaviour with the cut line mark
Hello Jonathan, I had some cleanup makro, yes, but removing it and just having %QUOTES in the reply template doesn't make that behaviour go away :-( must be something else. But thanks for the tip, it was worth a try. The whole idea of the IMAP protocol is everything is stored on the server side of things, that is, folders, emails, etc. So yes, to create a local folder when all you have is an IMAP account would be to use a common folder. -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Using The Bat! v2.05 Beta/16 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 10 Sin 20 goto Hell pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature Current version is 2.04.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Deleting attachments
I receive a large number of attachment which are kept in a separate folder. Since I often want to keep many of them after deleting the message, I have not set TB! to delete attachments when deleting the message. However, friends often forward me news clips that are full of small GIFs or JPEGS, which then also go into the attachment directory. In order to save space, I generally delete these small attachments when I read the message if I want to keep the message itself. However, these image files remain in the attachment directory even after deleting them from the message, meaning I periodically have to clean up that directory manually. Conversely, if I delete them from the attachment directory first, they remain attached to the message when I open it. Is there a way to ensure that they are deleted from both the message base and the attachment directory without having to manually do it both places? -- Thanks, Rick Current version is 2.04.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

IMAP
Hello tbudl, I'm struggling with IMAP. I've got it working, using local folders for Trash, Outbox, and Sent Mail. What I can't figure out is how to create local folders for anything else. It appears that the only way to do this is to use a common folder.
