the old signature and re-sign the edited message.

Not in my experience. If I forget to trip out the in-line PGP stuff,
and re-enable signing, I'll get an invalid signature if I try to
verify the signature.

Viewer/Editor settings

2006-06-13 Thread MFPA

Hi

Anybody know which file the viewer/editot settings are stored in?

Upgrading defaults to black text on a white background and I wondered
if it was possible to restore a backup file to recover the settings.

No.

To clarify the point, the PGP sig is of course gone but the
conventional sig remains.

Using PGP 8.1 with TB!'s v5,6,7,8 built-in support.

Voyager and PGP

2006-06-13 Thread Peter Meyns
Hi all,

is there any way to use PGP with Voyager on a machine, that doesn't
have PGP or GPG installed? I'm afraid, the answer is no, because I
remember something of GPG having to be in the path... But maybe
someone found a way to have all necessary files on the USB stick, and
have it work from there?

I only set up Voyager recently on a 128 MB USB stick, and it seems to
work quite well on my PC and on my notebook, both running Win2K. GPG
works as well, but it is actually installed on both machines.

Tomorrow I'll try Voyager on my girlfriend's notebook - old and small,
PII 266 MHz, Win98SE. I'm very curious to see, if or how Voyager will
work there. :)
