Eek! Password protected account causes not responding Bat!
Hi, Yesterday, I was playing around with the password protection on a couple of accounts. Both worked just fine the first few times I opened them since. Now, however, one of these accounts (happens to be my main account) causes my Bat to freeze after I enter the password, and the program is then in not responding mode. I'd very much like to get into this account, and I don't really care about keeping the password protection on it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If..then..else in macros
Hi all Is there an If..then construct in the macros? I would like to set up a macro that checks for the account being used in a new message or a reply and then based on the account include a particular file. I've tried using the address book but the problem i seems to be that TB uses the first name found in the address book and in my setup I have the same name and email address for several entries. But they are used in different accounts so if I could tie to the account rather than the name it would work for me, I think? e.g. In Account 1 I send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include file1 In Account 2 I send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include file2 Look forward to seeing your responses. -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 3.95.06 and AntispamSniper 1.7.0.8 Current version is 3.95.08 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hello Barry, Is there an If..then construct in the macros? Open Help/Macros/Full alphabetical list of macros and look for IF. -- Best regards, Miguel A. If I've overlooked something, please let me know. I am on the fence with this as well but lean towards your view of not having calendar in e-mail client. I like my apps to specialize and do their jobs well for what they were intended rather than be a do all but nothing awesome (Outlook). BUT I also see the benefit of having the cal in the client, especially in a corporate type environment where emails contain meeting times and task deadlines. NS Plus the presented interface looks ready for 2007 (and sweet) instead NS of 2001 as TB still looks (still though not saying bad but just NS saying). So this is about interface design? If so, TB! has room for improvement IMHO. I think this is the real issue here with me. I love TheBat but guess I get a little remise when I see nice GUI's in some of the clients out there. I even like the interface of the open source Chandler and some of the things they are doing to handle efficiency, but they have a long way to go before that thing is functional as a mail client.
