All new mail virtual folder
Hello Bat-Folk! I had (then accidently deleted) a virtual folder that showed ALL UNREAD email in the account. I see where I can create a virtual folder (and a common virtual folder) but I do not see where I tell these folders that they are for only unread messages. (I assume a common folder reads multiple accounts.) How/where is that folder recreated (using TB! 2.12)? Re[2]: All new mail virtual folder
[I want] a virtual folder that showed ALL UNREAD email in the account. I do not see where I tell these folders that they are for only unread messages. MG Isn't it Right Click on Folder itself Properties Filter etc? Ah HA! Yes, it is a filter applied to the folder. I didn't even see any filter options before as they do not show up until the filter box is checked... No wonder I spaced it. Managing Sent Mail
Hello TB User Discussion List, I automatically redirect certain mail to the office. I want to keep sent mail in the Sent Mail folder but not those redirected to the office. Have that filter execute your preferred action: deleting, moving to a dedicated folder or whatever. BM Nice clean solution - thanks Roelof! Very similar situation here but this, my 1st attempt at an outgoing filter in ver 2.12, failed for me. :( Mssg comes in and as it stands now, based on its TO address, is caught by an incoming filter that: 1- Marks the mssg as read 2- Moves it to the folder for that TO address 3- Redirects it to a cell phone I also do not need or want this stored in SENT mail so I tried to make an outgoing mail filter. It looks like maybe I want to change the source folder but the Sorting Office GUI does not allow that (that field is grayed out).
