htn Sorry ;) I restored *from* Voyager *to* a new installed normal TB!

htn A long time ago, I did it (and I intend to do it again) from a normal
htn one to Voyager without any problem.

Thanks for the clarification.

htn Have a nice day.

I did. Same to you! :-)

Strange Email Problems 3.99.24

2007-10-29 Thread Julian Beach (Lists)
Hello TB! Users,

I am not sure that this problem is TB! related, but since it appeared
since I upgraded to 3.99.24 a few weeks ago, I thought I would ask
here.

My DSL connection goes down when I send emails with attachments. It
appears to be size related - if the message is more than around 3.9Mb
then the my DSL connection is lost at that point. The send fails, and
I have to wait for my router/DSL model to re-establish a connection.

I am stumped by this. My ISP does not appear to have any limits in
place that would cause my connection to be cut off, but my router does
not tell me much other than a log entry to say that the WAN Interface
is down. I have tried my ISP's email servers and my backup email
servers via SMPTAUTH with the same effect.

Any clues anyone?

Julian

Re[3]: email trigger filter string

2007-10-29 Thread rich gregory
RG If I try to put the username on one line and the domain on
RG another line as strings then EITHER string triggers the filter.

RO Do you mean as an extra condition on the 'alternatives' tab? To
RO use two conditions on the primary rule will require both
RO condition to match in order to trigger the filter.

RG Not on another tab... Right on that first page of the filter I had
RG enter 2 conditions but it was then triggering on either one, not
RG only both.

RO Are you sure about that? It shouldn't do that. No other filter that
RO could have interfered?

RG I am not sure! Having found a work-around though I cannot spend time
RG figuring it out!

RG HOWEVER - I did see something else curious in the resulting emails
RG messages created by the filter:

RG The filter does a redirect. I see that MY email address is inserted as
RG they REPLY-TO. How can I clear that?

SORRY... That's RETURN-PATH is inserted and I want to strip that out.

Thx
RG
