Re: Wrong time-stamp on mail received.

Filter by characters sets
Hello tbudl, I get a lot of messages probably all spams written in Cyril character. Since I cannot read them anyway, I would like to consider all of them as spam and move them directly to the JUNK-MAIL folder, or even better directly to TRASH folder. Is there any way of doing this by using the BAT filters or the antispam plug-in Antispam-Sniper. Thank you for the help. -- Best regards, Peter The BAT 3.99.29, Windows XP Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
2 Issues
Hello, I have 2 small issues with TB version 3.99.29. All my TB installations have been updating previous versions. This was on formatted machine after Backing up TB mails and Accounts and formatting machine. The issues are: 1. Every time TB starts up it prompts me for file associations to vcf files. Outlook steals this file attachment and even if I click YES to associate the problem is soon back. Can I not stop TB from looking at these file attachments. I looked in Preferences ... Applications and even unchecked TB from being default mail client. No Go. 2. New message window does not show attachments pane. I can attach what files I want but I cannot see the pane so I am not sure what files I am sending. Only when I send it I can see the files attached in the sent mail. This is little disconcerting. -- Best regards, Mean Drake Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
TheBat! Version 4
Hello Group, I am continuing my struggle to find a combined Calendar/PIM/Email client and am currently trying Barca 2. Does anybody know if TB v4 will add any PIM type functionality or a better diary? If not I fear it may be time to move on for me. -- Jeff Gaines Damerham Hampshire UK Using The Bat! v3.98.4 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hello Thomas, Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 7:17:00 AM, you wrote: Hello Mean, Options / Preferences / Applications. There is a tickmark for checking at startup whether TB! is associated with VCF files. Did you see that? I did check that. TB is just not satisfied unless all three files are registered to it. I'll ignore this for time being. My other issue is more vexing. Read below please. An attachments pane should open when you attach the first file. In the main window (not in the editor), check out the setting under: View / Attachmments/ Hide to Pane. This is the setting I use. But in new message window, even after attaching files, the attachment pane just does not appear. That is what troubles me. -- Best regards, Mean Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hello Jeff, In an email on or about 20-11-2007 you wrote the following words of wisdom: I am continuing my struggle to find a combined Calendar/PIM/Email client and am currently trying Barca 2. I have been using Barca for nearly two years and the only thing I miss is the ability to make phone calls from the contact list. Highly recommended. -- Best regards, Mogens Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
