I'm  not sure whether your last line refers only to the Mac situation!  For 
TB  you  can  use  'Spacebar';  this is not activated by default but can be 
chosen   via  the menu sequence Options\Preferences\Message list and a line 
about  three  quarters  down the page 'Go to unread message with SmartSpace 
reading'.

Addressbook & Display Name

Hello,

Is there anyway to mass set Display Name for contacts? When I select multiple
persons the "Display Name" is grayed. Do it one by one is not an option for
1000+ persons that I have in my addressbook
