Hello Hans, >> If you can't use system restore, then uninstall version 5 and then >> reinstall the previous version that worked well for you. > > > Thank you, I will uninstall v5 and install the good one. In my case, uninstalling v5 did not remove 'thebat.exe' from Program Files..., I had to delete manually. Otherwise, for some reason, installing v4.2.44.2 would not overwrite thebat.exe. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Hi Wolfgang, > use the Add/Remove programms feature of Windows or use the MSI file to > uninstall That works, but keep in mind that going back to 4.2.44 will have an impact on the mail base as mails received by TB!5 are stored with UTC time and with TB!4 with local time. Anyway the weird sorting might just be a mismatch in the view modes, try changing that to new thread sorting and back. -- Regards Raymund Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Wrap-around inbox
I installed 5.08 yesterday. I am accustomed to read new e-mail from the oldest to the newest. In previous versions, the "next" arrow or the "delete and next" arrow would not do anything when I had finished with the newest e-mail. Now, there arrows wrap around my inbox and present the oldest e-mail message in the inbox. Is this a feature, and, if so, why? or a bug? Thanks. Windows Vista. -- Leonard S. Hello Jenny, How did you revert to 4.2.44.2? I tried to install it on top of v5, but as you see below I'm still on 5.0.8. With 5.0.8 my computer runs out of memory and it won't finish the scheduled backups. Right now The Bat! is using 1897 MB.
