It seems this was already addressed. There is now 
%THEBATVERSION(WITHBITS) and several other variants. See Max's reply

Searching for messages with named attachments

Hello Tbudl,

Has anyone got this to work?

I have tried

Simple: Attachment match  

Web-like: Attachment file names Search for  . This is weird, it
doesn't find them in the selected account but does find them in an
unselected account.
