Can this automatic feature be disabled? In Plain Text I have no problem typing (c), as you can see, and if I am using HTML, typing (c) is automatically converted to © -- Best regards, Miguel A. Before that, you can create a quick template for inserting the text and give it a short handle (e.g. "c" - a single character). stopping automatic copyright symbol with a "c" enclosed in parentheses
Once again, The Bat seems to have automatic operations that cannot be turned off. This time, it is the creation of a copyright symbol when trying to a "c" within a parenthesis: I frequently type legal references to all sorts of rules, statutes, etc., and the text, "(c)" is not infrequent. Currently, the only way I can accomplish this is by leaving a space between the "c" and the close parenthesis, and then later deleting the space. There must be a better way. Can this automatic feature be disabled? If so, how? -- Avi Avram Sacks, using The Bat! And so on. Thanks, Robin, Depressing "decrease indent" merely removes indent and leaves you with a space on the line, just as if you had initially typed a space and then inserted the number. However, having to go back and remove the space is a pain. There ought to be a way to turn this auto indent on or off. But, I see none. -- Avi Avram Sacks, using The Bat!
