I went back to 2.01.3 earlier and all seems well. It reverted to my
old message list settings I'm very pleased to say.

Yes it was. Thanks! However, I would still like to know if it is
possible somehow to create the Junk Mail System folder with the red
cross somehow without having a plug-in do it.

You can do it by creating a new folder called $JUNK$

I would suggest to use http://www.cifnet.com/contact.html, last
week I filled in the form asking for a license for 2.0 which I
 received two minutes later!

I've got a license, it's just the wrong type.

Education License

2003-09-12 Thread Alan Jarvis
Hi,

Anybody know how I'd get my v2 Educational license changed to a
Personal one which I registered it as. I've tried emailing ritlabs at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but have had no response.

Thanks.

I used the same address successfully. Maybe it is only a matter of
 time...

Version 2 Download Mirrors

2003-09-02 Thread Alan Jarvis
Hi,

I've registered and upgrade to v2 (although it looks like I've been
sent an Educational license) but can't download it. The following
link from the Ritlabs website isn't working:

http://download2.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/the_bat.exe

I've also tried downloading it from www.thebat.co.uk and
ftp.ritlabs.com with no joy. Anybody know of any alternatives?

Thanks a lot.

Cheers, Alan.

Funny, me too. Maybe there is something wrong with their automatic key
 generation.

I'll give it a few days to let the dust settle and send them an email.

I may be able to send it to you if you like :-)

Thanks all but I got it in the end from a beta link posted in an
earlier thread. Very nice it is too from first impressions, seems much
quicker to me. Just need to get my head around Bayesit now!

Thanks again.

May be something wrong, indeed -- as I have yet to receive my
upgraded key some 15 hours after registering. How long did it take
 for you guys?

About 1.5 hours for me. I registered this morning and was surprised
it came through so quickly.

Me too. I've mapped Ctrl-Alt-C to show connection manager and
Ctrl-Shift-Alt-C to hide it. This is done in the Edit Shortcuts
(Alt-F12) section. Look for Main Menu - Options - Show Connection
 Centre.

Hi Nick,

That works great, just what I was look for.

Many thanks.

So, you'd like to display something, but you don't want to go where it
is controlled to tell it to display. This is a nice riddle! :-)

Hi Adam,

Well, yeah :)

I thought there might be a key combination like F6 for SmartBat to
display it.

Delete Attachments in a Filter

Hi,

Is there any way to set a filter to delete attachments? I've had a

I've missed it or there's another less obvious way.

Thanks.

I don't want to have to use a blank line every time I want to have a
short line. Am I mistaken or is there some way around that? I tried
the 1.53bis version just now and it is the same with Auto-Format as
TheBat! has been since that feature came out I believe.

You can toggle auto-format using Shift-Ctrl-F, ie

Shift-Ctrl-F
Jeff
Jim
Jorge
Jack
Blank line
Shift-Ctrl-F
