PA Peter Peter, many (if not most) people simply add new addresses to their PGP keys when they change e-mail addresses. They often end up with several keys, of which one or more share one or more e-mail addresses. There's no real way to resolve this with a template or by using separate accounts, unless you set up *new* keys to use with new Bat accounts as you go. Better plug-in implementation *could* resolve this, as Eudora's did several versions before the current one. -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
Re[3]: TB! v 1.39 Installation
in response to my saying: DH but while many of your comments may be helpful, I strongly suggest DH you suspend your assumptions to a greater degree and try to DH assimilate the approach TB takes to windows email. I'd probably have taken this response the same way he did. It also seems to me that software should assimilate and be responsive to the needs of its users - not vice versa. -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --

Re: Newbie now on list...
I am new here, too, and most of my wishes have to do with implementation of the PGP functionality. In response to your issues, however: - I subscribe to several mailing lists, and so also deal with issue #2. I have found a conmpletely different approach works best for me in the long run. I subscribe to the list (not the digest), let each message come in whenever it does, filter messages to mailboxes appropriately, and have the mailbox for each list thread the messages. This is a feature that seems to work great so far for me. I can easily follow the threads I want, and throw out whole threads that are inane. I can't duplicate your issue with message deleting. I, for one, am looking forward to being able to place user-definable/configurable buttons on the taskbar!

Re[2]: Auto Verify PGP Messages ?
Actually, it works in some versions of Eudora, but not in others. It worked perfectly in all versions of Eudora Lite that I am aware of, but does not seem to integrate as well into 4.2 and later versions of Eudora Pro.
