BTW, how come when I open a message from the Outbox, created by a template with language set to German, the spell checker then uses British? Hm, maybe setting %LANGUAGE for the whole account would help? No problems here in Poland. Hello ::Andrew:: On Sunday, September 02, 2001 you wrote: Personally I don't agree, I think it would be pretty difficult to identify which emails were from a template and which weren't. A template could be used here with no offense and could spread a little love in the world :) Seconded. I think that a really good template with a lot of cookies would be good enough. I'd like TB! to do sth like this: X has a birthday today. You have created a message using a birthday template. Do you want to edit it now? Some improvements
Hello Batmaniacs! I had some difficulties writing to the list... probably due to the fact server was down. I received the following error message: - The following addresses had permanent fatal errors - [EMAIL PROTECTED] (reason: 550 mail from 150.254.194.2 refused by RSS, see http://www.mail-abuse.org/rss/) That's why I am resending this message... Hope everything is fine now... OK, so what are these improvements? Here: 1. Possibility to run compression and defragmentation eg. every 7 days... automatically - some kind of schedule... or running it from command line. 2. Message body and header encoding... What I'd like to have is: header encoded in Quoted Printable, body 8 bit. I tried a lot of different options, but I couldn't set it the way I'd like it to have. I could have it only like this: - header Base64, body 8 bit - header QP, body QP - header Base64, body Base64 So How about header QP, body 8 bit? 3. Better threading system - I mean now we have 4 options: Alt-1 References Alt-2 Subject Alt-3 From Alt-4 To How about Alt-5 References + Subject? I think mutt does it pretty well... 4. Better attachments handling - let's say I have 15 attachments in one message. OK. I have option Save all attachments. Great... but why do I have tick Enter 15 times?? Very annoying... Same about deleting attachments - why can't I select them all and press delete... that would be faster. 5. Account/Properties/Mail management/Message management. What about adding one option (such messages): (*) Delete received messages from server ( ) Leave messages on server [ ] Keep messages on server for ___ days [ ] Delete messages from server when it is removed from Trash [ ] Receive header only if message size is greater than ___ K Bytes [ ] Keep such messages on server for ___ days (0 = delete immediately) and now... We can: - check option and set 0 days - TB! would automatically delete such big messages from server. (same as it is now...) - set it to eg. 2 days - then of course TB! would delete large messages after a certain period of time - leave the option unchecked - then TB! will never delete big messages from server. This one could be default. IMHO right now this option is not very intuitive... I have lost some important large message... and all I was left was not useful header... Finishing - I want TB! to delete all messages from server EXCEPT the big ones - in that case I want only header + 20 body lines. I can download it later from a different machine with faster Internet connection. 6. Option Never purge unread messages 7. What about choosing a different color for signatures? OK. That's all. What do you think about it guys? regards from Poland, -- /\_/\ *kocurek* . Many accounts - only one address book?
Hello, I am using The Bat! 1.36 and I have 4 other users (accounts). One thing is there wrong, because all the users have common address book. What I want is a separate AB for every user. How to do that? It looks simple... - just create a new address book - but what I want is that other people couldn't see others address books...
