Re: Lost!
Hi, Well, things are really hosed now! Did the Ctl-Alt-Shft-L and now I have all all but the top account duplicated under the top account besides being in their rightful place as peers to my top account! I have an Inbox within an Inbox, I have a set of Inbox, Trash, etc. folders all by themselves NOT within any account and their contents duplicate folders' contents from within an account. Have had no problems until upgrade to 1.6. Any more words of wisdom? -- Rick Current Ver: 1.60c FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Lost!
A couple days after upgrading to 1.6 from previous, I have lost most folders, filters! This is not nice. Re Re filter - not
I discovered what was wrong. I had all the strings in the first box under strings. Once I made alternate sets with one string each, all is well. sheepish grin Thanks... rick -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
filtering - not
Hello, I am still having trouble with filters. I have one in an account that has 9 strings entries. One is X-YahooFilteredBulk in Kludges (Yes). Supposed to delete the msg in The Bat and on the server. Tried refiltering and the message still sits there in the inbox. What's wrong? -- Best regards, rick -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
Re: filter not
Hi Roelof, I do not know how to paste a filter. Please tell me how. I double checked the things you mentioned. All check out OK. -- Best regards, rick mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] RS Tried refiltering and the message still sits there in the RS inbox. The message could have triggered another filter first, in that case the message won't trigger other filters, unless the first triggered filter has the option 'Continue processing with other filters' checked. It's also possible that your filter-string has a typo. There's a possibility that your filter has (an) additional condition(s) that you've forgotten about or that you inserted by mistake or without realizing the consequences. It's also possible that your filter isn't active. Paste your filter in a message, so we can have a look at it. -- Groetjes, Roelof -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
String not found
Hi, I set up a rule to find those *@#$ Read this to the end junk. I put in the String 'TO THE END' without quotes. Then delete that one. One just came into my inbox. Re: re: string not found
Hi , I do not know what you mean by location. Unless you mean subject, text, etc. Set to text. RS I set up a rule to find those *@#$ Read this to the end junk. I put RS in the String 'TO THE END' without quotes. Then delete that one. RS One just came into my inbox. What's wrong? What's the location you used in your filter and in what location did the message state it? I don't know whether filter strings are case sensitive. -- Groetjes, Roelof -- Rick -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
Yahoo inbox
Thomas, What is GMX? rick Hello Rick, On Sat, 22 Dec 2001 08:42:34 -0600 GMT (22/12/2001, 22:42 +0800 GMT), Rick Sovitzky wrote: RS Is there a way to have TheBat check only the Inbox in Yahoo Mail? I RS have a Bulf folder which is already catching some spam, so I do not RS want to see that stuff. TB cannot do anything here if you POP-check. It is Yahoo's server that sends all messages when it receives the RETR command. If you use GMX, you will be able to retrieve only the mails in the inbox. -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
Garbage filter(s)
Is it better to have one filter per junk sender, or have one with many alternates? Also, in the Sender string, can I have just a segment of the email address (blah.com), or do i need the whole thing - @ and all? Or is there where regular expressions come in? Thanks...
