LAN connectioin
How do I get The Bat! to use my local area network? I changed the setting under network administration and it accepted it but it still looks for the dial up when I try to check my mail. OK window on startup
Dear Tbudl, I am using 3.5. When I launch The Bat! I have started getting a little window that appears behind the splash screen. All it has is a speech balloon with 'i' in it and an OK button but TB does not come up until I either close the window or click on the OK button. I would be grateful to know how to get rid of it. Hi Karin, Thanks for your message. I followed the advice on installing MAPI. when I go to Settings¦Control Panel¦Mail I now get a warning message saying "You need more memory or system resources. Close some windows and try again." Nothing else seems to think I need either. It happens if I reboot and go there straight afterwards. Everything else seems to work. Now it works! KS At least for me... You may indeed need to install MAPI for KS Agent first, if you've never used Agent with MAPI before. Hi Karin, Thanks for your message. I was trying to set The Bat! to work with Corel Wordperfect. In order to do that you have to edit the user profiles through ...Mail. As I can't do this i don't know if it works. However i could edit the settings before I installed the MAPI dll for TB so I must have done something. Mail Ticker
I have been out and when I came in my mail ticker had stopped moving. I have tried restarting The Bat! and Windows and changing the speed but they are all no speed at all. Can anyone help?
