RegEx request

2023-07-31 Thread Thomas ML
Hello RegEx experts,

I usually BCC to myself, so that I have the outgoing emails in my Inbox. That's
in my templates. My choice.

For the different departments, we also have group emails. These are set up so
that any email for that group will be auto-forwarded on the server to each
member of the group.

If I CC to my and copy the group email, I receive it twice in my Inbox. While
the duplicate is easy to delete, I want to prevent this from happening. My code
idea is as follows:

IF "CCList" includes "gro...@example.com" DO_NOTHING
   ELSE add "BCC=myem...@example.com"
   ENDIF

Is that possible in RegEx?

TIA.

Cheers,
Thomas.

MS Exchange / Hotmail

2023-01-11 Thread Thomas ML
Hello Tbudl,

How to read emails on MS Exchange with TB!? Our university server used to give
POP server access, but I understand Microsoft disabled this sometime last year.
IT department told me that TB! can use MAPI (they found that on a website) but
I still cannot set this up.

Right now I am using the webmail, which I don't like. Any hints how to set this
up in TB!?

TIA.

This is not a beta issue, so we should discuss on TBUDL instead.

The template macros are not case-sensitive. I believe that you inadvertedly
used "$" instead of "%" in the template that didn't work, as you did in your
reply just now. Could you check that?

Checking only every 30 minutes would cause problems in business. Apart from the
fact that it means I receive tens of emails each time and suddenly have to get
very busy, this new bunch of emails will also include a few reminders for
non-replies: I receive an urgent enquiry now, it may already be 29 minutes old.
I write my reply but the next mail check is in another, say, 28 minutes.
They will received my reply almost an hour after their urgent email - in my
business, that was OK 10 years ago but not today any more.

Why would you think that it is not a good idea to check more often than every
30 minutes? Is there a technical reason? Kindly advise, thanks.

I have set each account in TB! to check and send mail every 10 minutes. This
way, if the internet is down it fails, and if the internet is up again, it
receives and sends emails.

Account / Properties / Options / [X] Periodical check every [10] minutes

Thanks! BTW, Show Source is in the context menu directly, no need to select

This is not what I mean. There I can choose which header are always shown in
the panel. I already now all CC and BCC headers.

In the headers in the raw email (source) I personally find it easier to see.
Plus, with the F9 keyboard shortcust I can view other headers which I don't
want to see for every message, often starting with "X-", or I can see the
message body to extract an URL.

RFC-Headers

2022-02-01 Thread Thomas ML
Hello Tbudl,

I often look at the headers, either to see whether I am in CC or in BCC, or to
look at the list of recipients (I am weired and find that easier).

I use F9 for that. However, on my new Asus laptop, F9 seems to be a system
shortcut putting the laptop into sleep (for which I usually use Win+L).

I could not find another way to show the headers in TB!. Any hints?

Cheers,
Thomas.

TBprotocolsRetr.log

2021-09-06 Thread Thomas ML
Hello Tbudl,

On my new computer, there is one account that cannot check mail. After "FETCH =
TLS Handhsake complete", the next entry in the account log is:

FETCH - Cannot open file "D:\\TBMail\TBprotocolsRetr.log" The device is not
ready.
FETCH - connection finished - messages received.

I looked in the old computer, and I do have such a file there (469MB!).

The mail directory on the new computer is set to another drive. I checked
Account / Properties / Files, and it is correctly set to the new
drive, and the message files are there too.

I have toggled Verbose Log on and off, didn't help.

What can be the reason only this account needs this file, and why is it looking
in the wrong drive?

The file is either account.flb or account.srb, I forgot. And no, these are not
