Missing icons in address book
Hi Bat Users, Can someone please check the following. When writing a new email, select the email address from the address book by using the right most icon (al the way to the right) in the TO: field Select an address book from the drop down menu. I now see a blank space next to the name of the address book were there used to be a icon. In fact the whole menu looks kind of empty ?. Hi Paul, I just noticed something else. When I select Ctr-W and add the sender to the address book I also set the gender. Then when it came with te msg if it should add the other email addresses to the same address book I responded with NO, which gives you the option to select the address book for this email address What I noticed is that it exactly the same as I have entered before with the same address book but also the gender set. To me this means that TB! als does recognizes that this is the same entry and if displays it. It is the same result as if you would try to add someone to your address book who is already in one. Add sender to addressbook function problem
Hi Bat Users, I use this function (Ctrl-W) often to place people sending me email in a address book for filtering purposes. I have recently had the problem that sometimes after adding the name to a selected address book a pop-up appears asking if it should add the others to the same address book. It looks like I selected multiple email whereas I only selected one with one sender. When I select no, the address book selection window appears with, what looks to me like the exact same data I just entered and even the address book selected I just entered. To me it looks like TB! is trying to enter the same data twice. It is great for handling all my contacts but has some quirks I would like to see fixed. It has nice integration with a fax and word processors but has an absolute terrible e-mail integration. Obviously I like TB! and would think it perfect if it would work with ACT! but someone else might have different PIM needs and prefers an other program. The answer is standard interface programming.
