Re: SSL SMTP Problems

All I can say is that various virus infections and other nuisance things
make my PC working in an odd mode I have a gmail account and following
the data supplied had it running with the bat when installed the first time.
Problem is, at the moment it doesn't work As mentioned, make sure
you don't loose emails and following the instructions try a clean
install I probably will do the same as soon as I have a virus removed
which made itself a home in my PC.

Ok, but if you open the box to answer, the cursor sits at the top. I used to
start adding messages at the bottom.. After quite a few complaints I
swapped to adding at the top but no problem. I prefer adding down the
message anyway. second item, a bit difficult to read I see as I just deleted
it!

Anyway I had problems in the past when trying voyager as after a system
crash how do you find your mail if it has disappeared.

Last item, I installed antivirus pro (2009) but I think it is a fake product
as Icon is wrong various other things and for sure its not Comodo's icon
set. Software comes from their website.

Thomas, If you get a crash though or a virus , how do you get the voyager
messages back into the bat... Extensions arent the same!
Another usage is by the way if you meet many customers as you could run your
mail on about every system visited!

This is also true in many internet cafes in Asia. I often have to hunt
around at my travel location until I find an internet cafe that allows
exe files from USB sticks to be run. Often enough, when I get home I
will discover that I have a virus on the stick - no big deal, as I
just delete everything on the stick and reinstall before the next
trip. I have a directory called USB on my harddrive for that, I just
copy the whole directory onto the stick.

Why do I go through all this trouble? - I find it still better to use
Voyager with all my email accounts, setting and templates, rather than
having to log into the various web interfaces. And when I stay at
friends' places in Europe, there will be no problem using the USB
 stick and Voyager anyway.

Hello Thomas,
I will go v4 anyway but want them to wait 'pestering' me for money till I am
back from Had Yai...
Money isn't really the problem anyway as otherwise I wouldn't have survived
23 years here...
Sofar the plans are to get the bus Sunday evening and then sort out
on Monday what they think best to do (I guess they will not know...) I
saw a doctor today and he as a non specialist didn't...

Hello!Well I have to do a few things before my bat is ready but at least
its in the system!
Messed it up once as well so I leave it alone till I am back from visum etc
trip and hospital.
I guess first I need to recover my small hard disk!
One thing was a disaster and that was a reinstall of thebat ! which kind of
zapped all but as its Google I guess I can get it back!

 Hi

I just noticed it is exactly 2 years since I last received an email
telling me that Someone new has joined or updated their image on
 Roguemoticons.

I just checked and I still have that option selected. Are these
notification emails no longer sent, as I notice there are photos in
the rogues gallery that I don't have yet?
