some people). If any of you actually helped me with my problem, you would get an
extra Thank You very much for helping in rather British english accent. To me,
essence is more substantiall than the form. I'm not saying that I didn't learn
anything from this mailing list, but many threads are so offtopic, and it takes
time to read something that doesn't regard the subject. I know also that nobody
forces me to join read it, but... I'm a student, learning a lot, programming,
getting out with friends, so I don't have a lot of spare time to waste, and I
like the sentence Carpe Diem. I know what humor is btw. (:

One other thing I noticed. Why every time you don't know the answer to help
someone, you search for something to start teasing, just to post something? Then
it is better not posting anything, than making fun of someone with a problem.

I know that everyone of you would hate me for posting this, but whatta hack - I
can always unsubscribe. (;

Hello, Bat Men ! Wednesday, January 05, 2005. 13:14:45

Best wishes for everything you plan to do in this New Year.

I'm having problem with SecureBat in a combination with Wine under Slackware
Linux. The thing is that I use Linux for surfing the net (it goes a lot faster
under Linux btw) in the same time I like Bat very much. So, I decided to try
using it under Linux. I installed Wine, Bat everything works just fine (maybe
doesn't look so nice, but...). The only problem is font conversion as I'm
getting mails in some different encoding styles (Windows-1251 Cyrillic for
example), and it becomes unreadable. How can I (if I can at all) solve this
problem? 10x. I'm not very familiar with Wine if matters.

Funny, indeed.

Wow, someone actually reads those things! I'm glad. 10x for pointing out, 'cause
I changed those settings late at night (more like early in the morning) after
the New Year's party. Didn't see it all, so 10x again for telling. Now I still
have birthday to celebrate. I'm really happy! (:
