Just type 28 on the day 03 on the month and 1965 on the year and
it will change without using the mouse

Just highlight the 'month' and type in the number of the month (eg:
april is 4), it works the same for day & year.

Use left arrow for the next field.

I have found you can at least highlight and change the year in the
dropdown box. Must still crank through the months on the calendar, but
it is a little easier.
