Re: Filter / Folder Question
Hello Stefan Tanurkov via TBUDL, Thank you. I used The Bat for MANY years several years ago. I moved to a MAC so I couldn't use it, but I have moved back to Windows so I'm back. I am embarrassed to say, I forgot about the folders tab in the filter manager .. so thanks for the push in the right direction!Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 10:01:55 AM, you wrote: > Hello Jody, > Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 4:23:43 AM, you wrote: >> Is there a way to set ANY message, that is in a specific folder, as read. > Presumably, you are talking about IMAP folders in your scenario, then the > answer is yes - you can do it with incoming filters assigned to specific > folders, select "Any message" or whatever condition you need and add the > "mark as read" action to the filter. -- Jody Watts Thought for the day : I went to the museum where they had all the heads and arms from the statues that are in all the other museums. -- Steven Wright Composed on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 7:55 PM using The Bat Version 9.3.0.3 on Windows 10.0 Build 19042 Attachments = Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Presumably, you are talking about IMAP folders in your scenario, then the answer is yes - you can do it with incoming filters assigned to specific folders, select "Any message" or whatever condition you need and add the "mark as read" action to the filter. -- Best regards, Stefan Tanurkov Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Filter / Folder Question
Hello tbudl@thebat.dutaint.com, Is there a way to set ANY message, that is in a specific folder, as read. Here is the scenario .. At times I use a web based email or the browser built in email client (in testing) to read email. When I delete a message from those sources, TheBat will show it moved to the trash, but still shows it as unread. I would like any message that is in the trash folder to be automatically marked as read. -- Jody Watts Thought for the day : Officer, I know I was going faster than 55MPH, but I wasn’t going to be on the road an hour. -- Steven Wright Composed on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 8:20 PM using The Bat Version 9.3.0.3 on Windows 10.0 Build 19041 Attachments = Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
