It's the DPI setting in Desktop/Properties?Settings/Advanced.

It may be the cause of truncations and failure to display boxes not
only in the Folder Properties Dialogue Window but also in the Sorting
Office Dialogue window.

http://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5820

Both bugs have been assigned and may or may not have been fixed. It
doesn't hurt to get further confirmation of these problems added in
notes at Bug Tracker. So I would encourage you to write a note at
http://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5817
and also to have a look at issue 5820 (link above) and see whether you
can replicate that bug.

Point of clarification: is the Large Fonts in XP the
Control Panel->Display->Appearance->Use Large Fonts box?

I'm using XP SP2 and just installed 3.80.03. I have
a similar problem as described above: text boxes and
checkboxes on the edge of the window are are not displayed,
even if the dialogue box is resized to the maximum.

Currently, I do not have the Use Large Fonts enabled. I tried
restarting TB! with Large Fonts enabled and disabled with
similar results.

Not a factor in this bug. That point was already well established
before v. 3.80.03 was released.

It's a Windows Large Fonts interaction with TB!'s dialogue window code
that is the issue. The BT report (which please support) is at:

I have switched to 1280 x 1024 and still see #of days OK
then down to 800 something and OK then back to 1024x768

That's the resolution over here, no problems. I think it is rather the
font size, then.

First frame in the Properties General folder is the same of the
folder. Second frame contains four tickboxes, the last two do what you
are missing (if ticked, the field for the numbers will be active).
