I think it's not BugTrack/BugTraq any more. I believe they renamed it
(more appropriately) to Issue Tracker on the website. I like BigTraq,
though: "Bat's Issues Great Traqcker".

You can send in a wish but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that
to be implemented.

Here's how I used to deal with that. This is no longer an issue since
IMAP doesn't support sound alerts yet for incoming mail for accounts
and folders.

Open the sound file that you're using in the Windows Sound Recorder.
The shortcut for that little app is reached via the
Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment menu. In the Sound Recorder,
go to the Effects menu and select 'decrease volume'. Play the sound.
If you need to decrease the volume, run the decrease volume command.
You can now play with the increase/decrease volume commands until you
have the sound playing at the volume you wish. Save it to another file
and then point TB! to the edited sound file. You can now enjoy your
notification sound at the desired volume.

If you need different volumes on a regular basis, you can create
different versions of the sound file and keep them in a particular
folder. Instead of moving the slider you're wishing for, just choose
another sound file. :)

A little awkward, but it's a working solution for now and the
foreseeable future. :)

In my case the problem usually arises when I listen to the radio on
the Internet.

Thank you. The page doesn't open at the moment, but it's probably
something temporary, or a problem at my end.

Wishes are now entered using the BigTraq server. Please see the

How to request something on the wishlist?

2004-07-31 Thread Costas Papadopoulos
Hello,

I would like to request a feature for The Bat! Specifically, I would
like the volume of the sound notification when new mail arrives and
the sound included in filters to be adjustable, preferably with a
slider control.

Is there an address in RITLabs where I could post my request?
