Kill Filter (was: Peter, DO NOT OVERQUOTE!)
Hallo syv, On Fri, 16 Feb 2001 16:57:56 -0800 GMT (17/02/2001, 08:57 +0800 GMT), syv wrote: s How do you make a kill file? or are you talking about a s filter to the trash based on sender? Account / Sorting Office / Selective downlaod Filters. Look around in the tabs, it gives you a lot of options. Disadvantage: once you have at least one Selective Download filter, TB will download all headers first, check them against these filters and take action (for example, a Kill Filter will delete a message on server and not download it), and after all this is finished, will start once again and downalod all messages as appropriate. Therefore, in many cases, just using an Incoming Filter and filtering into Trash might be faster. -- Cheers, Thomas. Moderator der deutschen The Bat! Beginner Liste.
