Have been there with a friend (graphic designer, Mac adept) of mine
too - solution: use plain text formatted messages.
(I don't want to repeat the rant, but HTML shouldn't be used for mail
communication)

Mac Mail

2006-07-27 Thread Nick Dutton
Hello,

I'm receiving correspondence from a friend who is using Mac Mail.

These appear as a set of attachments, much as with HTML messages, but
without an html wrapper that I can open.

The result is that I have to piece all these together to make any
sense of it.

These attachments are labelled:

Text - contains the first part of the text
Part.txt - more text
Part..ATT- Looks like the formatted (html?) portion
   Yes there are two dots.
Part#01..ATT - More formatted stuff
Etc.

Since I can't get over there to see what's going on, can anyone tell
me what's happening, or what can be done to fix this at either end?

TIA
