Thanks for the help, everyone. I've found that importing archived mail
from Agent is dead easy, using the Unix message format.

That's a shame. i hope they don't ruin what I think is the best email
client around with feature bloat. I have yet to find an email client
that's as good at news as Agent. Or a news client that's as good at
mail as The Bat. Just adding more features for the sake of it is not
a good sign IMHO.

Oh puhleeze, say it aint so! I paid good money for Agent for a good
newsreader _ONLY_! I paid good money for TB! too, but because it is a
good MUA _ONLY_! Let those who MUST have it all in one kludge it as
has already been done.

When will developers learn that single applications that do everything
for everyone are just the same as the garbage called 'Microsoft'
software?!?! TB! works, the M$ all-in-one crap doesn't.

When I migrated to TB! many years ago, it was from Agent. I don't
 recall any problems.

It was a process because I had to export each folders messages and
import them into TB!. Luckily I didn't have many folders at the
 time.

Hello Allie,

Wow. I have been using Agent since the early 1.0 days and I never knew
it could act as an email client. :)

By the way, did I read correctly that TB 2.0 may support newsgroups?
Cool.

A newsreader plug-in for TB v2 is being thought about. That's the
correct info.
