It has never happened to me with restoring from a backup to a new
set-up. When restoring to an existing set-up from time to time it will
create duplicates in the addressbook. Of course, there are many of us
who feel that the addressbook is the part of TB which needs the most
work.

Hmmm. Well I guess it was just my bad luck. But as I stated in the previous
email, I was able to get it back. Hopefully I won't be upgrading again anytime
soon.

Thanks for your input Richard.

Hello Tbudl,

Cancel previous request for AB help. I was eventually able to figure it
out.

However, I am curious as to why backing up TB on the old computer and then
restoring from that backup to the new computer failed to move the AB.

Any ideas?

TIA.
