Well, there goes my theory that something just isn't ready when you
start collecting mail for the first time.

Hello Google,

Almost every time I start up TB v3.71 Pro in the morning to download my
Mail, I receive an error saying that the Server is being used by another
Program (which it is not) or the Server is down for maintenance (which it
 is not).

It looks to me that those errors have nothing to do with TB, specially
the 'Server is down for maintenance' one.

Hello Google,

How much time is there between boot and starting of TB.

Usually 3 to 4 minutes, because I have one Account I keep on Outlook for
work, so I check that first, then go to TB.

What happens if you do not check your Outlook account first?

GM Almost every time I start up TB v3.71 Pro in the morning to download my
GM Mail, I receive an error saying that the Server is being used by another
GM Program (which it is not) or the Server is down for maintenance (which it
GM is not).

GM Anyone else receiving this error when 'first' starting TB in the morning
GM for instance? Anyone know what might be causing this failure? It only
GM lasts about 3 minutes or so, and then I'm able to download my mail without
GM any problems. H?

I'm not an expert on these things, but my guess is the server is telling TB
that your POP session is locked and it's just relaying the message. I'd check
out the server side. Maybe the last session you run at night is staying locked
for some reason.

How do you start TB, automatic or manual? How much time is there
between boot and starting of TB.
Are you using a proxy-server of some kind (anti spam, anti virus,
whatever)? If so, how is that proxy started, by TB or something else?

Sorry about the last message... I hit some other key and before I knew it,
the CC had already sent it. As for a proxy server, no, I don't use one. I
have NOD32 AV and Sygate Pro Firewall, but neither have anything to do
directly with TB, however I do have NOD32 checking my incoming mail, but
only on my Outlook Account.
