Try the international pack, downloadable from the Rittlabs site.

MO Here's my problem and my questions:

MO When viewing Spell Checker-Language I see:

MO * American English
MO --
MO v Swedish (CSAPI)

MO First of all, I can not use anything else then Swedish, no matter what
MO I do The Bat! is not able to correct english texts.

Do you have any files in the folder C:\Program Files\The Bat!\speller,
that where TB stores it's dictionaries.

MO Second, when installing MS Proofing Tools together with MS Office 2000
MO I choosed both Swedish *and* English. Shouldn't English (CSAPI) show
MO up under the line as well as Swedish (CSAPI)?

TB's csapi support isn't flawless, but once I noticed that if I used a
language in Word's spell checker TB discovered the csapi for that
language.
Can't reproduce that now, because I cannot find my English, German and
French language modules for Word, though I'm still using the same
office version. :-( (Due to a major crash I had to reinstall from
scratch two weeks ago.)

MO Isn't that just for customisable menus? I remember installing the
MO international pack a long time ago (around v1.36 I think) and it
MO messed things up quite a bit. Therefore, I do not want to install it
MO if I don't know it will help?

The international pack I downloaded gave me a total of 13 different
languages for the spell checker, apart from the csapi ones.

MO Well, since this isn't my real problem, I don't know if I'll install
MO it anyway. What I do want to solve is my CSAPI issue.

Don't know anything that could be any further help.

If you mean the spell checker, you'll need to give some more
information: do you use the internal spellchecker, or do you use CSAPI
(spellchecker from MS Office). If you use CSAPI, add your Office
version, too...

Offhand I's say that your dictionaries could be corrupted. Are you
using TB's own dictionary files or are you using some csapi
dictionary?
You could try to re-install your dictionaries or even a full
re-install of TB.

Since it's a recent problem. What did you change on your computer a
couple of days ago?

A How do I do this please?

TB automatically recognizes csapi if you've got Word installed. In the
edit message window go to the menu:
Spell Checker - Language - everything beneath the horizontal line
is csapi, everything above is from TB.
