Hello Terry. Thanks for responding to my post. At 9:51 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2002 you wrote the following about [choosing an e-mail address from contacts] Smart Maybe it is only in Beta/27. Smart I started at 27 so I don't know about 26. Maybe but looking @ the headers it seems that Lars was using Beta 26 when he wrote that msg. Hm. -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA TB! Now you can right click a contact and choose from a list via 'Add address -'. Nice but a bit clumsy ;-( It would be simpler when writing an eMail address into the Address field to have this Icon beside the already existing one. When clicking on it it should show the eMail-Address selection from the Name entered there. If you have more than one Address written in the Field it should show the alternative address of all of then if it exist. -- best regards Eddie Powered by The Bat! v1.54 Beta/26 under Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 PGP (public) is available: www.EddieCastelli.com/pgpkey/ -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

Jasu Costas, --- Costas Papadopoulos / Freitag, 11.01.2002, 18:31:35 choosing an e-mail address from contacts Why is it that when I try and use the 'Add address'option I get an error message Duplicate handle and cannot add an alternative address? Yes I have this too. But not with all address books. One AB called 'Maillist' I have in one vCard an entry with 2 eMail address. The other AB called 'privat' I have a test vCard with my name and three eMailaddress. Using the Maillist AB I can choose what ever is defined as alternativ but this does not work using my privat AB focusing on my test vCard. Hi Roelof, [ Duplicate handle error ] RO That's because you're using the same nickname for two address book RO entries. No, I don't think so. I get this error even when I'm using handle names like sdfkjsdhfkjsh (I'm absolutely sure this isn't a double handle!) and with _every_ AB entry with more than 1 address I tried.
