Hello Thomas and everyone else who tried to assist.

The link is invalid because it has now expired. The platform developer blames
TB and TB has not been able to solve it or acknowledge there is even a problem.
So on it goes ad infinitum.

The fact that the problem is not present when I read the link as a plain text
webmail, proves that the link is not tampered with until it is received by TB.

The AV does alter it.

Using the unique matematical entity of part; does not help things either.

I set the character set translatioon to UTF-8 only and in plain text view mode.

What else can I do except start getting email for this operation only on
webmail and then manually downloading it after the link is used?

DE The URL is incorrect as it does not conform to RFC 1738. The two characters

DE characters and are being used out of there 'reserved character' context.

This looks correct to me.What you're seeing there is the same URL twice, the
first is probably within brackets (though the first isn't shown here), but it's
clearly breaking the URL at the close ' which should be correct.

A problem I am seeing is that it appears to be converting the substring part
into ? which is bad because the question mark character is supposed to
separate the URL from parameters and now you have multiple question mark
characters in the URL string. Like David said, this could be a problem with the
encoding. You could also put some blame on the site that generated that URL,
$part; is an HTML entity and shouldn't appear in a URL unless it is expected to
be converted to the appropriate character.

What I noticed in David Elliot's response (that I received) was that the

changed into the math character for a partial differential.

Oddly, the reply by Sam Brown to the same message did NOT replace the

Sam and David are both apparently using TB 4.2.42.

CDIsxm's and Sam's messages were encoded in us-ascii while David's was

Also, I noticed that anytime I tried to copy and paste the partial
differential character it changed into a ?.

I don't know where the corruption is occurring, but I hope this information
