Hello Marck,

I am trying to create a shortcut that relies on a certain
account. I would like to open an editing window for a certain
   account.

I need for the editing window automatically input the accounts
   default template.

MDP This is all covered in the Help file under the Command line
MDP parameters topics. For example:

I looked their first for my answer but it didn't answer how
I could leave out ;[EMAIL PROTECTED];S=Subject Text; and
simply open the editor window for the account.

MDP thebat.exe /MAILU=MyAccount;[EMAIL PROTECTED];S=Subject Text;/EDIT

I modified the above code to /MAILU=vbg;EDIT and it helps
to open the editor but it tampers with my account template.

I have this macro %SUBJ right at the top in my body but when
I launch the shortcut that macro no longer works.

How do I get the command to focus it's cursor into the
subject field and not the body? I do not wish to repeat the
process though the command line but instead create a
shortcut that launches the editor window for the account
and it in no way tampers with the template.

To get the cursor to focus right in the subject field would
be a plus :)

Hello Marck,

MDP I'm not quite sure why it should do that and I don't think it
MDP should. If it does, it may be a bug.

I have this macro %SUBJ right at the top in my body but when I
launch the shortcut that macro no longer works.

The %SUBJ macro is good because while in the account if I
have it set in my template and begin to compose a new
message, the macro takes the value of the actual subject.

MDP Hang on - %SUBJ is a macro to *retrieve* the current subject. But
MDP you're deliberately not setting one. %SUBJECT= is the macro to set a
MDP subject.

Below is the actual macro in use.

%TO=[EMAIL PROTECTED]%SUBJ
%DATE, %OTIMELONG

When I click compose a new message is started. Though there
is no subject defined, it appears in the body *after* I set
it in the subject field and this is what it looks like...

 field and not the body?

MDP Ah - that's what you're after. Not possible, I'm sorry to say. The
MDP cursor's only resting place when the editor is opened by automated
MDP means is the body.

I only ask because if I launch a new message from within TB!
The macro for the subject works fine. Perhaps I did stumble
across a bug that does not respect the %SUBJ macro in the
command line switches?

I do not wish to repeat the process though the command line but
instead create a shortcut that launches the editor window for the

MDP You're not telling us in what way it is tampered with.

I mean everything else with the template is fine except the
macro for the automatic subject title ceases to work :(

Thanks again :)
