Are you using Outlook/Exchange?  I had a similar problem and here's how I
fixed it.

I had to open up Outlook and leave it open while I was importing my
messages and address book into TB!.  I noticed while I left it open, I got
a prompt saying something along the lines that an external program was
trying to read my mailboxes and address book, and if I wanted that to allow
this to happen.  I granted the program 10 minutes of access (which was the
max allowable in my version of Outlook).  Everything went fine.  But if I
kept Outlook closed, the Exchange server just rejects any access by TB!.
TB! just froze until I opened Outlook and allowed the access.

That's right.  And I did the same.  I actually had some scary messages
after the first import.  Like Outlook wasn't even going to run for me
any more.  But seems to run at the moment.

I don't think there is any Exchange server.  But, I wouldn't know.

This rejection, seems like a new concept.  Like Microsoft has AI or
something!
