Hello, Saturday, January 31, 2004, 5:28:33 AM, you wrote: Marck No. They're written in sort-of English by Moldovans and then some of Marck it is translated to real English by me g. Although some of the Marck help is really great, it has too many sections that aren't. The information about new features in v2 was originally written by me, and as far as I remember there was no enough time for improvement by Mark before the release date. Feel free to send me all the critics about this part. In fact, guys in Ritlabs speak Russian (not Moldovan). My sort-of English is Bulgarian, though this fact doesn't make help files more readable... Anyway, you can expect better English in the future, as help is under improvement process for some time past. -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.02 CE on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Hidden DOS secret: add BUGS=OFF to your CONFIG.SYS Current version is 2.02.3 CE | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I use to get the magazine many years ago, but dropped the subscription because of the lack of objectivity. C What, if anything, do you read now? I second what Greg wrote. Same here exactly. Aside from Fred Langa's remarkable newsletter (www.langa.com) which has saved our butts so may times over the years at my work (and is easily worth the $11 per YEAR subscription IMHO) I now read Maximum PC, quite possibly the only print publication out there that really tells it like it is. A bit geeky, but often funny, and if it sucks they don't sugar-coat it... Always a pleasure to read. Don't buy it off the news shelf though, because it's 7 or 8 bucks, versus 12 bucks for a whole year subscription! Hello Marck, C Are the help files really written in Moldovan and then translated C into English? MDP No. They're written in sort-of English by Moldovans and then some of MDP it is translated to real English by me g. Ah! Then it wouldn't be a criticism to point out the automatical under Options|Network Administration|Network. This is in 1.62r, so maybe it's been dealt with in v2. If The Bat! received a positive review from PCMagazine, the user base would increase, then the giant companies like Earthlink (and probably aol) would have to retrain their tech support people, perish the thought. -- Maggiemailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Current version is 2.02.3 CE | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
