Why would encryption help against viruses?

As I said in my e-mail it doesn't apply to me. But as you may know
there are viruses out there that extract e-mail contacts from any file
on the hard drive. If the contact is encrypted, what are they going to
extract?

I trust my anti-virus plenty enough for me to know that this won't
happen to me. But in any case, it is (IMHO) a good point to mention.

Hi SS,

S And these fellas are itching to make examples so as to create
S case-law and various other precedents of unbelievably heavy
S punishment for otherwise naive or harmless offences!

WM Really? Examples?

S Well, they are itching I say, they haven't done it yet (or I may have
S missed it). What examples do you want?
S When it happens, there will be a heavy punishment for the naive
S offence of forgetting one's password (IMHO). Don't you get it?

And the one thing you forgot: If you tell the press about how you've
been mistreated you commit the offence of passing on
information (as all requests for this password information are deemed
to be confidential) which leaves you open to a five year sentence.
Isn't government wonderful?

Hi Marck,

Perhaps you have to write to Max? Or [EMAIL PROTECTED] AFAIK
 membership is by invitation.

OK... Thanks very much.

This was a substantial cash outlay to have upgrade information given
by invitation at the discretion of the vendor. :-(

(I know that it's not your doing... just venting)

Re[2]: SecureBat, where to buy it ?

2002-09-07 Thread ZoZo666

MT Go to ritlabs, I am sure you can buy it Online! :?

THANK YOU :(

Buy online is not a problem, THE problem is to RECEIVE the stuff in
good conditions! Mail to Russia takes a while - when it arrives ! And
I don't want to pay 50 bucks more for a courrier service...
