Hello Subhi,

SSH>>> Is there a way to make The Bat accept this certificate (add the root)
SSH>>> or the certificate itself somehow?

I just got a Comodo certificate thanks to Simon Blake and it
took me about ten anguished minutes to install it. >:| but
it's in and was just tricky... Heres how I did it.

In Internet Explorer I believe go to Tools > Internet
 Options > Content > Certificates

Under personal certificates select your issued certificate
and click on export... I had to do this *twice* I'll
explain. Just export them to the same folder.

"you'll be asked for a password somewhere just do not
 forget it"

At the first prompt select yes, export the private key.
Leave the default radio button checked and check include
all certificates + enable strong protection > click next.

 The rest should be easy...

Now do it again. Export > no do not export private key and
select next. Leave DER as default and hit next. Locate
where you saved before and hit next.

You're done with IE feel free to shut it down.

Now in TB! go to account > properties > edit personal
certificates > import... Do not import any one individually
import them both at the same time.

Now double click your newly installed certificates and look
at their profile. For all of them you'll do the same thing.

Click add to address book and say OK. Go to your
certification path and and highlight your parent
certificate and click add to trusted.

If its blanked out try the next certificate. Only one of
them has to get added to the trusted source for all of them
 to work.

I did it, it works and I am happy :)

Thanks Simon Blake for getting me started :)

Meyns>> As far as I understand, the certificate must be added to the "Trusted Root
Meyns>> CA" address book. Probably via New -- Contact, like in the other address
Meyns>> books. I haven't had the need to add a CA, yet, so it's only a guess... :-)

Man it was hell for me trying to go that route but if it
works for you or someone knows a trick let me know :)

Good luck Subhi :)
