Probably not the same problem I have as F4 works on almost all messages except for a few. Also F7 brings up the Message finder. To check what shortcut is set for Reply Quoting Selected Text select View/Toolbars/Customize and select the Shortcuts Tab. Then select Main Form/Main Menu/Specials and look for Reply Quoting Selected Text. If its not F4 you should be able to change it. -- Stuartmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v4.0.18.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 4.0.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I don't know why, but on the XP box the F4 does a reply with an empty reply message, which is same thing you describe. Like your situation, I have no idea of the reason for difference. I've tried to check settings pretty carefully between the two, but can't see any differencesexcept for the ones I missed, I'm sure. dan -- The road goes on forever and the party never ends.
