Hello Doug,

DH It would be nice if it had a more descriptive label...

It's fixed... I needed to add a new folder to my virtual folder and
it started working properly!

I've now modified all my virtual folders (add then remove folder) and
they seem to be behaving too.

 Hello,

I'm trying to get threads with recent activity to show as the bottom
(sort by create date, ascending) of my message list.

 I found this item:

And have checked 'sort by created' with the option 'new thread
sorting' enabled but still new messages for old threads appear way
down(or up in my case) the list, where the original message came in.

Can anyone help me out on this one?

 Thanks,

Ah, I was a doubter once, but now I have several that I'd be lost
without:

1. Last two days' e-mail from all account plus any flagged for
follow-up

2. Recent junk from all accounts (sorted by date)

3. Recent sent from all accounts (sorted by date)

 Along with going stale

M Even with auto refresh selected?

Yes, even with that selected :-(

Thanks for that. You're absolutely right, that works a treat in
ordinary folders.

I realised though, that my problem is with virtual folders. It's been
so long since I used the underlying real folders that I'd forgotten
all about this.

I guess this is just a limitation of virtual folders? Along with
going stale etc. etc. - but they're just so useful I can put up with
all that.
