TB and Gmail 2 step verification
Hi, I've tried setting this up, and got access with TB and an application specific password once, but then it never worked again, and I couldn't get into my TB account, until I disabled 2 step verification again, and restored the account settings to an earlier backup. Has anyone set this up successfully, and if yes, how did you do it? :) -- Best regards, Susannemailto:sisk...@gmail.com Using The Bat! 4.2.6 OS: Windows 7 6.1 Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hi Susanne, Monday, June 11, 2007, 12:32:55 AM, you wrote: S Does TB not work fully with gmail? In my experience, Susanne, it does. My primary email account is a Gmail account, and I have another that I use as the primary communication channel for things related to my blog. I have experienced *no* problems with either of them. My only complaint about the functionality of Gmail is that it does not send any messages back to me that I send to mailing lists like this one, which is why I use a different address for this list. -- Regards, Perry Using The Bat! v3.99.8 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

The reason I noticed this is I made the same mistake a couple of years go when I tried to configure for a new ISP. (Even the same misspelling, if I recall correctly!) TB and Gmail?
Hi, I'm trying to set up my gmail account with TB, and while I can receive messages, I can't send. My current setting for smtp are: smpt.gmail.com secure to dedicated port TLS 465 Perform SMTP authentication, same password as mail retrieval.
