Yes, that's normal behaviour. It allows you to switch from one window
to another even when you run them maximized.

Thanks, Roelof.

Two entries?

2008-04-01 Thread Quin
Hello TBUDL,

Whenever I open a mail message, two The Bat! Application entries
are present in Windows Task Manager. Both entries point to the same
process. So far as I can tell, this doesn't create any problems. I am
curious, though, about the two entries. Is this normal The Bat!
 behavior?

That's not your best explanation ever, Roelof. You mean doing the
alt+tab or activity bar icon-click thingie, right?

I gase at the brilliant full moon. The same one, I think to myself, at
which Socrates, Aristotole and Plato gazed. Suddenly, I imagine they
appear beside me. I tell Socrates about the national debate over one's
right to die and wonder at the constancy of the human condition. I tell
Plato that I live in the country that has come the closest to Utopia,
and I show him a copy of the Constitution. I tell Aristotle that we have
found many more than four basic elements and I show a periodic table. I
get a box of kitchen matches and strike one. They gasp with wonder. We
spend the rest of the night lighting farts.

Two entries in Add-Remove Programs

2004-09-11 Thread Costas Papadopoulos
Hello,

After installing version 3, in the same directory as version 2, I now
have two entries for The Bat in the Add-Remove Programs list. Is there
a way to eliminate one of them without having to reinstall everything?

PS Please excuse me if this has been discussed before. If it has, then
I must have missed it.

Same here...I know I used the .msi file to install v3 and I also
believe that it was a fresh install, however, I do have the two
entries in the Control Panel. One just says The Bat! and shows 10.91MB
in size and the other says The Bat! (Professional Edition) and shows a
size of 22.82MB.

I've got only one entry for TB, but I do have an additional entry for
the international pack, perhaps that's confusing you?

Did you try both the home edition and the professional edition?
