When the situation is bizarre, just a patient wait and often the problem
works its way out since it was some normal setting overlooked. :) Good

Update on AVG plug-in

Hello Everyone,

  I went to my control panel for AVG Free and there I found an
  "activate" button for email scanning. When I clicked it, that seems to
  have resolved the issue I was having with AVG Free not being set up to
  scan email ... I think/hope. In any event, all looks like it is back
  to normal.
