Hellow TBUDL arroba thebat.dutaint.com i'm a daily digest susbcriber of the list, because you write a lot of mails, :-) i would like see another order in the messages of the daily digest, for example today i recibed the next messages secuence: 1. Insert Template Just before send message (Nikolay Cankoff) 2. Re: Insert Template Just before send message (Roelof Otten) 3. Re[2]: Insert Template Just before send message (Nikolay Cankoff) 4. Re: Turning full justification off (Graeme Adamson) 5. Re: Insert Template Just before send message (Roelof Otten) 6. Re[2]: Insert Template Just before send message (Nikolay Cankoff) 7. Re: Cleaning up duplicates in address book (Roelof Otten) 15. Re[2]: macros for TB - what can i expect to see? (Dhrakol) 16. Re: Ignore thread (Stuart Hemming) 17. Re: Ignore thread (Stuart Hemming) i think this is order by time. i would like you order it for PID of the message, to have the responses in order. the order for the last list will be: 10. Yes, but there's nothing we can do. The mail server compiles the digest by itself and the only control over it are the following end-user options: 1) Text digest (as you have it) 2) MIME digest (where all messages are included as attachments which you could easily copy out to a folder and re-order as you wish) 3) Non-digest - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator TB! v1.63 Beta/7 on Windows 2000 5.0.2195 Service Pack 2 ' -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1rc1-nr1 (Windows 2000) iD8DBQE+jGTpOeQkq5KdzaARAiCnAKCUiTqWpmNet8X1BAiYMsywXle53wCgoAev GrgT/IfIWfv5KaOsfMDB+lM= =ElIQ -END PGP SIGNATURE- Current version is 1.62 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

If you filter TBUDL mail into a specific folder, and then you set the view on that folder to thread by reference, you will have all messages ordered the way you want. In addition, you will not see responses to issues that you do not expand, thus saving screen space and mental attention. If you want to reply, you can have a sensible subject line, instead of the unhelpful subject that results from replying to a digest. And when you want to delete the messages, you need only hit ctrl+del (or right click and empty folder) to trash all non-parked messages. -- JN Current version is 1.62 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
