Is  it possible to insert a symbol into an email message using the 
Bat email editor? If so, how? Thanks.

Go to: http://www.alt-codes.net/ for a list of ALT codes.
I tried it during creation of an HTML message and it worked.
 Just press and hold the ALT key while you type in the
 number using your number pad then release the ALT key.
