Re: invalid security
Hi Jernej, maybe the provider's using a certificate that TB doesn't know (in this case it might be enough to switch S/MIME and TLS in Options to MS CryptoAPI, assuming the certificate is installed in Windows' certificate store). Thank you, that worked. -- Regards, Gunivortus Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
invalid security
Hi y'all, a friend from Brazil downloaded and installed The Bat for the first time. He is using a secure connection (TLS) to the mailserver of his provider using ports in the 900 region. The provider is one of Brazils biggest provider, with several millions of customers. With every connection to that server TB shows a window, telling him, the security certificate of that server is invalid and he is asked if he wants to go on. After a Yes, that happens, but it makes automatic maildownloading (pop3) impossible. Is it possible to deactivate that message to make the automatic periodical mailcheck possible? -- Regards, Gunivortus Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
