Marck D Pearlstone wrote: Yes. It's an IE configuration error. Thanks. Sorry for asking the obvious. I finally checked myself and sure enough, my IE settings has reset to default settings (Outlook Express as mail client). I should have known that uninstalling The Bat would cause IE to lose the reference to TB. mailto: link craziness
I remember this problem a long time ago, and I remember figuring it out and fixing it. But now I don't remember what I did. When I click a mailto: link on a webpage (IE 6) I get about 30 IE windows that pop up - and no new message in The Bat. I had this problem a long, long time ago when I first installed The Bat. I haven't had it since then, but my recent upgrade/downgrade/re-install obviously tripped something up. Anyone know what setting causes this? -- Ken Green Using The Bat! v1.62r on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 Current version is 2.02.3 CE | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
