self-deleting e-mails problem
I have a problem with TB losing e-mails from Inbox. If I select (one-click) an e-mail in the list of received e-mails, then click on another, the first one disappears. The message still exists in the messages.tbb file but can be found in none of the folders (inc trash). It doesn't matter if I have parked the message or not. It has happened across several versions inc. v1.53d Can anyone suggest a reason/solution? Hi Clive, ce If I select (one-click) an e-mail in the list of received e-mails, ce then click on another, the first one disappears. The message still ce exists in the messages.tbb file but can be found in none of the ce folders (inc trash). It doesn't matter if I have parked the ce message or not. ce Can anyone suggest a reason/solution? Do you have filters for Read Messages? Which TB!/OS version do you use? -- Best regards, Carsten The Bat! Re: self-deleting e-mails problem
D'oh - how did that happen? Yes, there was a filter set up for Read Messages, and that's where the e-mails were going, interestingly I hadn't set that filter up!! So where did it come from? Thanks Carsten, that's saved me from pulling my hair out with and having to move over to OE. Clive. Hi Clive, ce D'oh - how did that happen? Yes, there was a filter set up for ce Read Messages, and that's where the e-mails were going, ce interestingly I hadn't set that filter up!! So where did it come ce from? It can easily happen because in Sorting Office there's no 'Ok', 'Cancel', 'Apply' buttons. You probably tried something with this filter and pressed ESC assuming that your changes were reset... ce Thanks Carsten, that's saved me from pulling my hair out with and ce having to move over to OE. You're welcome :-D -- Best regards, Carsten The Bat!
